VISIBLE WELLBEING LAUNCHED
Over 350 staff from Singleton High and schools throughout our region have embarked on a Visible Wellbeing (VWB) journey. Participants congregated at the Civic Centre and were introduced to the concepts, activities and successes of VWB by Professor Lea Waters and her colleagues, which is based around the SEARCH model of Strengths, Emotional Management, Attention and Awareness, Relationships, Coping and Habits & Goals.
Some practical applications of the strategy were presented by Jonathan Russell, Principal of King Street Public School. The two year program will enhance student and staff wellbeing, personal development, learning and success, it is being led by Principal Jo Scott from Singleton High School.
This major investment in Singleton’s Education Community is sponsored by Yancoal. For many more photos please visit Galleries on our homepage. #inspiredteaching
