Horse Success at Merriwa

Last week Singleton High students Aidan Sargent, Renee Atfield, Katrina Stevens and Catherine Butler had a very successful day at the MISHA Inter-schools Equestrian event held in Merriwa. Aidan and Renee from Y12 have been representing SHS for 6 years at horse sports events. This will be their final horse sports event and the day was perfect - with a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and lots of success! Aidan won Champion boy rider +17 years Renee won Reserve Champion +17 years girls, Katrina won Reserve champion 16 years girls and Catherine received an encouragement award. To top the day off Singleton High came 1st Overall with highest secondary school point score. Well done!!!
