All students are entitled to participate in and progress through the NSW curriculum. Special education refers to the use of evidence-based teaching practices to meet the individual needs of students with disability. Adjustments to teaching, learning and assessment activities enable a student with disability to access syllabus outcomes and content and to achieve their potential.
