Description

Mint is a delicious and aromatic herb that can be found in most environments but especially in wet or moist soils. Mint has small texturized leaves that can range from dark green to pale yellow. Mints texture looks like wrinkles stamped into the green leaves.

 

What Is It Used For?

Mint is widely popular as a flavour for many different types of confectionary and dental hygiene products, mint is also popular with adding flavour to dishes and desserts. Peppermint essential oil is sometimes used to treat indigestion, headaches, colic, gingivitis, irritable bowel syndrome, spasms and rheumatism it also relaxes muscles, has antiviral bactericidal qualities and eases intestinal cramping.

 

Planting and Growing

Mint is extremely easy to grow and stopping it from taking over the garden can be a problem. Mint is extremely fast growing. It is recommended to have plenty of room to grow in, preferably in a cool damp place.
